Dholera’s journey as a smart city began with a vision for sustainable urban development. Governed through a structured council, it ensures balanced representation—combining strategic oversight with local engagement. This governance model has played a vital role in transforming Dholera into India’s first planned smart city under the Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC) initiative.
